1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. If you are under 18, you must have a parent or guardian's consent. By using the Service, you represent that you meet these requirements.
2. Account Registration
- You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account. - You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials. - You are responsible for all activity under your account. - We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.
3. Subscriptions and Payments
### 3.1 Plans We offer Free, Pro (monthly subscription), and Max (annual subscription) plans. Plan features and pricing are displayed on our pricing page.
### 3.2 Payment Processing Payments are processed by Paddle, a third-party payment processor. By subscribing, you agree to Paddle's terms of service and privacy policy. We do not store your full payment card details.
### 3.3 Auto-Renewal Paid subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled. You may cancel auto-renewal at any time through your account settings or by contacting us.
### 3.4 Price Changes We may change subscription prices with 30 days' notice. Price changes do not apply to the current billing period.

4. Acceptable Use Policy
You agree not to:
- Use the AI features to generate, distribute, or facilitate: illegal content, hate speech, harassment, malware, phishing, sexually explicit material involving minors, or content that promotes self-harm or violence. - Attempt to circumvent usage limits, reverse-engineer the Service, or interfere with its operation. - Use automated means (bots, scrapers) to access the Service without permission. - Impersonate others or provide false information. - Upload or transmit viruses, worms, or malicious code. - Violate any applicable laws or regulations.
We reserve the right to remove content and suspend accounts that violate this policy, without prior notice.
5. User Content
### 5.1 Ownership You retain ownership of the journal records, AI chat logs, and community posts you create ("User Content"). You grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to store, display, and process your User Content solely to provide the Service to you.
### 5.2 Community Posts Content you set to "public and shared" may be visible to other users on the community wall. You may change your sharing settings or delete your content at any time.
### 5.3 AI-Generated Content Responses generated by the AI are based on your input and the underlying AI model. We do not claim ownership of AI-generated responses. See Section 9 (Disclaimer) for important limitations.
6. Intellectual Property
The Service itself — including its code, design, name, logo, and the curated case library — is our intellectual property. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works of the Service without our permission.
7. Third-Party Services
The Service integrates with third-party services including Supabase (infrastructure), DeepSeek (AI model), Paddle (payments), and Vercel (hosting). We are not responsible for the availability, accuracy, or practices of these third-party services.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. - We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. - Our total liability for any claim related to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or $100 USD if you are a Free user. - AI-generated content may be inaccurate, incomplete, or inappropriate. You are solely responsible for decisions made based on AI output.
Some jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of certain warranties or liabilities. In such cases, our liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law.

10. Indemnification

11. Termination
- You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. - We may suspend or terminate your account for violation of these Terms, with or without notice. - Upon termination, your right to use the Service ceases immediately. We may retain certain data as required by law or for legitimate business purposes (see Privacy Policy).
12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in San Francisco, California, unless otherwise required by applicable consumer protection laws in your jurisdiction.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or a notice on the Service. Your continued use after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
